South Shore Habitat for Humanity welcomed home three families to Feinberg Bog Road, Duxbury on Wednesday, July 10th at the Home Dedication Ceremony.

All who participated in some way on the project, either by volunteering or financially contributing, were invited to celebrate with the new families as they received the keys to their new homes.

South Shore Habitat for Humanity is working in partnership with the Town of Duxbury’s Affordable Housing Trust (DAHT) on the this project, which is comprised of three duplexes on 2.91 acres that was formerly part of Camp Wing. The 2 bedroom townhomes will have approximately 1,200 square feet.

Three of the townhomes will be low income homes and the other three will be moderate income homes. Selectmen, Theodore J. Flynn, brought greeting on behalf of the town of Duxbury and the homes were blessed by Reverend Ed Perkinson of St. John’s the Evangelist.
