WEYMOUTH, DUXBURY, MA, ISSUED JUNE 30, 2019…South Shore Habitat for Humanity (http://sshabitat.org), which has delivered quality housing in partnership with families in need for the past 32 years, has named Dominique Mathieu to its Board of Directors.
In this role, he will work with the other board members and Executive Director Martine Taylor to further the organization’s work to help provide housing for people in need. Since its founding in 1986, South Shore Habitat for Humanity has completed 58 homes in 21 towns, helping more than 100 adults and 200 children build a place to call home. The organization serves 35 cities and towns south and southwest of Boston.
Mathieu recently retired following a career in management consulting that spanned four decades. Most recently, he was an Engagement Partner with Tata Consultancy Services. Over the years, Mathieu led teams working with senior business and technology executives across multiple industries.
Mathieu, who holds an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, has a long history of volunteerism, including work with Habitat for Humanity, Young Life, and mission work in Haiti when he lived in Glencoe, Illinois. Additional not-for-profit leadership includes volunteering with the Archdiocese of Boston where he translates evangelical documentation for the benefit of French speaking ethnic parishes.
A resident of Duxbury, Mathieu and his wife Nancy have three children and four grandchildren.
