critical home repair program

Critical Home Repairs

South Shore Habitat for Humanity is launching a new Critical Home Repair Program. This program offers assistance to qualified seniors, veterans and families who are struggling to maintain their home. The program focuses on repairs that address health, safety and code issues. As with all Habitat programs, this offers “a hand-up, not a hand-out”. This is not an emergency repair program and projects are based on current funding.

The program covers the repairs listed below up to $10,000.

  • Ramp access to primary entrance
  • Handrail to primary entrance
