South Shore Habitat for Humanity and The Town of Easton are offering a Single Family Affordable Home in Easton!!
Selected homeowners work alongside volunteers on the construction of their home. Families purchase a home with a 30-year affordable mortgage and a deed restriction that maintains the affordability of the home in perpetuity.
South Shore Habitat for Humanity offers a hand-up, not a hand-out. Our partnership program includes educational workshops to equip new homeowners with the skills necessary to be active members of their communities. Habitat Family Partners are selected based on their ability to pay, willingness to partner and demonstrated need for adequate housing.
A household (family) shall mean two or more persons who live regularly in the home as their principal residence and who are related by blood, marriage, law or who have otherwise evidenced a stable inter-dependent relationship, or an individual. In order to qualify, applicants must meet the minimum and maximum annual income (outlined in the offering) of no more than 80% of the area's median income.
In the event of a discrepancy of income limits posted on our website and the application. The limits in the application will prevail. All opportunities will be posted for a minimum of 60 days.
